A quick video showing the anodizing process of a 3D printer part I make. This isn't a tutorial, it's just 30 seconds of video I recorded the other day for fun.

The full process:
1) Suspend part in boiling 5:1 solution of distilled water and Simple Green to degrease
2) Agitate in distilled water (do not touch the part from this point)
3) Anodize in 3:1 solution of distilled water and battery acid at 4.5 amps per square foot of surface area for 90 minutes
4) Agitate in a solution of distilled water and baking soda
5) Agitate in distilled water
6) Suspend in dye (I used Rit dye in this video) until the desired color is achieved
7) Suspend in boiling distilled water for 20 minutes to seal

This process assumes that your part is already bare aluminum with no prior anodization, paint or other coatings. If your part is not clean, bare aluminum you will have to remove any surface contamination or coatings before starting.
