While waiting at Tukwila for the northbound Amtrak Cascades train to Bellingham, I began filming what I figured was a northbound freight... until I realized it was northbound on the *southbound* track, and was, in fact, my train! Extremely snowy and icy weather (for the Puget Sound area) caused switches to freeze solid, hence the re-routing to the southbound track, and equipment malfunctions (presumably due also to the weather) resulted in BNSF's loaning of this GP unit (not sure of the exact type- any identification help is appreciated) to power said train! You can hear my surprise at the end of the clip, and it was immediately after that the conductor yelled at me to run to the other side, in the snow with my luggage no less. Fortunately, I did make it on the train.
