We visit London's Leather Lane Market. Running parallel with London's famous Jewellery & Diamond street Hatton Garden is leather lane which has a range of stores along it and some great coffee shops and cafes which Monday to Friday hosts leather lane market which can have up to 141 pitches.
Some of the traders are casual and some are permanent so the amount of stalls does fluctuate there are stalls selling clothing, towels, socks, flowers, fruit & veg and some good street food
Leather lane is surrounded by shops & offices as well as residents and the market has always capitalised on weekday Lunch time trade which is when its at its busiest.
If you visiting the market weekday lunch times is what its geared up for and the best time to visit, but the stores along the street are open much longer and at weekends and there is a couple of good pubs.
Its not really a much talked about or blogged about destination When I first started working here the whole area was like a ghost town at weekends not even the pubs were open and many still shut, but its slowly getting busier and busier.
As you can see it’s a cold & wet day here in London and on a miserable day like this pie & mash will make a comforting lunch. Good Pie & mash shops are few and far between these days.
I've walked past this place pie minister many times and today looks like the perfect day to try it.
