What are the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali?
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are a manual to unlock a humans ultimate potential - enlightenment, and also a complete guide to how the human mind works.
There are four chapters:
Chapter 1 - Samadhi pada talks about the goal - the state of enlightenment.
The 2nd chapter - Sadhana Pada delves into the practices and disciplines that lead to enlightenment.
Chapter 3 - Vibhuti Pada highlights the supernatural powers that are awakened on the path, but emphasizes that these are mere distractions for the Yogi.
And Chapter 4 - Kaivalya pada speaks about what happens after attaining the state of ultimate liberation
