This weak muscle causes plantar fasciitis ‼️🦶
And listen, we get it. Plantar Fasciitis is painful.
But let’s talk about the 𝗪𝗛𝗬 to understand where the muscle imbalances may exist: Your foot 🦶 muscles aren’t doing their job, and your poor, poor little plantar fascia is bearing the brunt of their 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.
You see, the plantar fascia—the flat band of tissue that connects your heel bone to your toes— has one important job: To support the arch of you foot. But when your feet muscles are weak, it makes the plantar fascia work extra hard. So hard that it gets irritated, weak or swollen and causes you pain, likely at its insertion points—just above your heel or just below your toes. Sound familiar? 🥴
So yeah, get going and strengthen your feet so you can give that plantar fascia some well deserved rest.
