🎵 "Cristofori's Dream" is the 1st piece on David Lanz's seventh studio album, released in 1988 titled Cristofori's Dream. The album as well as the piece are said to be dedicated to (and named after) Bartolomeo Cristofori, who was highly regarded to be the inventor of the piano.
🐥 I found this piece in the early years of searching for new pieces to play on Youtube. I listened to it and it instantly felt familiar. It may have been the similarities to "Once Upon a December" (which I'll cover eventually but not soon haha), but either way I wanted to learn it all the same. I don't think I need to point out which parts should catch your ear if this is your first time listening to it as I'm sure the main melody will be obvious. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching!
