I found this 16MM Kodak Color film of Capt. G. Allan Hancock handing out diplomas to cadets. From 1939 to 1944, Hancock College of Aeronautics, out of Santa Maria, Ca, was one of 8 original primary flight schools commissioned by the US Army in WWII. Santa Maria can be read in the roof of the building with the control tower. There is a Stearman Bi-plane fly-by. Capt. Hancock may be remembered more from the La Brea Tar Pits and Hancock Park. 1 min 47 sec. This was in an Excel Prep P-41 16MM toy projector box with projector, used to record this.
