Some highlights from our dive at Tori's Reef in Bonaire. It was across from the salt flats, so some cool topside views on the drive in and while gearing up.
Underwater provided nice views as well - a field of staghorn corals in the shallows, bright orange and vibrant blue sponges, some very colourful parrot fish, a small golden tail moray (Gymnothorax Miliaris), a few different types of pairs of butterfly fish, some angel fish (French and Rock Beauty), jawfish, flounder, as well as 3 scorpion fish - all of them blending in pretty well, but one covered with some algae reminded me of snipers and covering up in ghillie suits...also like snipers, these fish are potentially lethal to humans; they have venomous spines on their body that will puncture a predators mouth if their bit, or a persons foot if their stepped on, and inject a powerful neurotoxin.
