It can also be called a healthy Pickle as Lemon is loaded with vitamin 'C' which fights infection, Green Chillies are Rich in Vitamin 'C' too, An Antioxidant and prevents lifestyle diseases, Ginger is loaded with nutrients good for coughs and cold, and prevents stress and damage to ur body, Garlic improves immunity and promotes heart and brain health and Mustard oil has been used which is known to produce skin and hair health and treatment for cold, spices used like Turmeric, Kalonji, Chilli Powder, Vinegar, Mustard seeds and Salt contributes to its Delicious Flavor and Taste.Can be Preserved for upto a year or more .This Pickle Combination is known for its mixed flavor and very easy to make at Home.
INGREDIENTS:
Lemons :- 12-15 Nos (cut into 8 pieces each and seeds removed
Green Chillies : 200 gms cut into one inch pieces.
Ginger : 150 gms sliced I to two.
Garlic : 150 gms cut in one inch julienne.
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp (Kashmiri )
Turmeric : 1 tsp
Kalonji : 1 tsp
Asafortida/ hing : 1 tsp
Salt 3--4 tsps
Mustard seeds : 2 tbsps.
Coriander seeds : 2 tbsps
Cummin : 1 tbsp
Sauf / Fennel : 1 tbsp
Methi seeds: 1 tbsps
2 tbsps each of chilli, garlic, and garlic coarsely ground.
Mustard oil : 2 cups can be lessened as per choice. Heated to smoking point and cooled.
