What would an aquatic race make treasure chests out of? This was the question that inspired this tutorial in the GameSmith’s series on water accessories. If treasure mounds on the surface world are able to draw attention, create a sense of tension, entice players with a reward, and even cause paranoia, then the aquatic versions are able to do the same. Aquatic Treasure shells can be made with simple and inexpensive materials such as sea shells and glitter glue. By adding a few details such as coral made from pasta and beads, one can create an appealing terrain feature that liven up any aquatic encounter.
In this GameSmith DIY crafting tutorial we will show people new to the terrain crafting hobby a guide to create simple scatter terrain treasure piles with a focus on the best practices and tools for creating your own tabletop terrain for Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Warhammer 40K, and many other games. We hope you enjoy the video!
