@TexasTintMasters and I are working on Mercedes Benz Gle front windshield! I am using a torch and Carlos is using his trusted heat gun :) After we form the window tint to mold to the shape of the glass we install it on the inside of the windshield. So yes the window tint goes on the outside initially but its final home is on the inside! Protecting you from the sun! I love Window Tinting front windshields ! Because its normally the hardest window to do on a car! And I like to challenge myself and trainees to do hard tasks so that they get better!
Window Tinting your front windshield is the best thing you can do to your car to maximize heat from coming into your car. Obviously I wouldn't go with a dark film because you want to be able to see out during your night time drive and you do not want to get stopped by law enforcements. So this is why I would only recommend a light film (70-80%) Also I only use ceramic window tint. Ceramic window tint offers a ton of heat rejection with a lighter shade! Once you get ceramic tint on your car you will instantly feel the difference !
