This is going to be a bit of a more personal video that will go over some of the struggles and successes I've had over the past 2 or so years of #goinggrey. It's definitely been a journey and I'm not done yet but this is my update after nearly 24 months of no #hairdye!

Going grey was a big decision for me. I've always had long, thick hair, but prior to making the decision to let it go grey #naturally, I always was one to dye it with some frequency. It looked great when I dyed it, but after finding a few videos that went over how people transitioned to naturally grey hair and seeing how positive and confident these women were, I decided that it was time for me to do the same. I had a lot of trepidation at first as it wasn't very long, it looked like my #roots were showing through and that I wasn't caring for my hair properly. But that was just part of the journey! As with everything worth doing, it takes some time. I spoke with my amazing #hairdresser, daughter, and especially my husband about their opinions on what I should do and they all reassured me that it would be worth it to keep it going.

Let me tell you what, I'm so glad that I did keep it going. Now that I've let it get to a point where it looks like natural grey hair as opposed to un-dyed hair that isn't blending in, I'm so happy with how it looks! I have the confidence in my look that the women I previously saw did and I'm still not done! With my length of hair it will take a while to get it to be all the way down, but I'm very happy with how it looks and feels now.
