After a 38-hour water fast, I woke up feeling exhausted and completely depleted. I did improve after having my first shake for the day, but was barely able to work due to the exhaustion. By the end of the day, my gut was painfully bloated - I felt bloated from my rib cage down to my pelvis. I speak with my doc tomorrow so we'll see if I continue with the Elemental Diet for another week or if it's time to finish.
