Ever seen the term 'CTR' on a digital marketing report, in an ad platform like Google Ads or somewhere else and wondered what it means?
If you are asking yourself 'what does CTR mean'? then you've come to the right place.
In this short video I am going to explain exactly what CTR is, and why it's relevant and important for assessing the performance of your digital marketing campaigns.
TL:DW? 'CTR' is short for 'Click Through Rate' and is a measure of how many people see your ads versus how many click. Typically, a higher CTR is a good indication that people are responding well to your ads (at least in terms of finding them appealing to click on) whereas a low CTR may mean that your ad copy is not so appealing, or your targeting is not set correctly.
What constitutes a good CTR? That is very dependent on the platform(s) on which you are advertising, your ad objectives etc. You can learn more about digital marketing by checking out the videos on my channel and subscribing.
