I have experienced settings just thinking about the here and now when compiling their INTENT information (formally or informally). Intent being the first of the three I’s; Intent, Implementation and Impact, prompted by changes in the Ofsted Inspection process. The information has concentrated upon what the children will learn, which is correct. This video is an introduction to the series and encourages EYFS owners and managers who are aspiring to be outstanding EYFS settings to think about what they INTEND to put in place to build that learning upon, and what ambitions they may have to improve the opportunities for the children to learn from.
