The 2024 Ford Mustang is finally here! Well, almost. This is our first taste of the seventh-generation Pony car, which is known as S650 in Blue Oval parlance. Point being, it builds on the undeniable success of its S550 predecessor, which launched to unprecedented demand.
Needless to say, the S650 Mustang has a lot riding on its proverbial shoulders, but it's looking to deliver in a big with an all-new flagship, the aptly named Dark Horse, which builds upon the popular GT grade with the most powerful version of the iconic Coyote V8 engine yet.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Ottley travels to the United States to put the sinister Mustang Dark Horse through its paces and find out if it deserves to be met with the same level of anticipation as its forebear.
