Ingredients:
1 kg boneless beef including with 1-2 bones
1 cup wheat
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbs chana daal
2 tbs masoor daal
2 tbs rice
2 tbs moong daal
2 tbs mash daal
2 tbs white oats
2 tbs gg paste
1 tbs garam masala powder
1 tbs cumin seeds roughly crushed
1 tbs roasted crushed cinnamon
1 chicken cube
1 bay leaf
2 medium sized onions
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp salt
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp dry ginger powder
Procedure:
Soak wheat for 4-5 hours. Soak chana daal for 1/2 hour. Wash all lentils including rice and mix together. Add 3 cups of water, 2 tsp gg paste, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and leave them till tender. In oil add 1 bay leaf and cinnamon sticks. Fry onion in 1/2 cup oil. Add gg paste and beef. Fry for 5-6 minutes. Add all dry ingredients and yogurt. Now fry for 6 minutes and when oil is seperated take a little out for garnishing at the end. Add 2 glasses of water. Cover and cook for 25 minutes in a pressure cooker or for 50-60 minutes in a pot. When meat is tender detach it from its bones. Shred the meat and use a hand beater to beat the lentil. Mix the meat and lentil together. Add 1 tsp garam masala powder and chaat masala powder. Mix well. Take 1 medium sized onion and brown it with 1/4 cup of oil. When brown put on daleem. Cover for 5-6 minutes. Garnish according to your liking.
