In general the position Supervises all Concierges and Drivers and ensures that assigned tasks are performed in accordance with established standards and procedures and reports directly to the Front Office Manager. As usual will coordinate the activities of all Bell and Door Service personnel and assign tasks as necessary; ensure that all guests’ luggage are expediently handled and delivered and not “scattered” in either the Hotel’s lobby or at the main entrance, handled with care and proper placed in the room and be acquainted with checking in and checking out procedures.
Ensure a bellman goes up to the room immediately when requested by a guest for check out, all messages, mail, parcels and other items for guests are correctly and promptly delivered to the rooms, all baggage held for storage is recorded and claim tickets (luggage tags) are correctly issued to guests, the equipment at Concierge Counter such trolleys, wheelchair and others are maintained in good condition/standard at all times and at all times the loading and unloading of luggage is performed properly at the side entrance with no obstruction to guests arriving at the hotel through the main entrance.
