In this video essay, I cover (what I personally think) is the best scene in one of the most overlooked Studio Ghibli films ever: The Tale of Princess Kaguya. Co-written and directed by Isao Takahata.

The animation is not only extremely fluid and breathtaking but the sheer emotion that goes into this scene is truly immense, which is why I just had to talk about it.
