Campaigned by Dyson Racing during the 1986 and 1987 IMSA GTP seasons, chassis no. 122 entered into 13 endurance races and secured two victories in the Road Atlanta 500 Km and Road America 500 Miles events in 1987, as well as a second-place finish in the Sears Point 300 Km and two further third-place finishes. In the hands of drivers Price Cobb, James Weaver and Drake Olsen, the 962 fought competitively around some of America’s most iconic tracks, including Watkins Glen, Sebring, and the Laguna Seca.
Kept in outstanding, ready-to-run condition, this car has been under the care of the consignor since 1989 and is available at auction for the very first time.
