These cinnamon rolls are fantastic. The dough is pillowy soft. Lots of cinnamon mixture and a perfect creamy frosting makes them incredibly delicious. You can make them for breakfast because the dough can be left in the refrigerator overnight. This is a great breakfast idea for Christmas, Thanksgiving or any other morning. This recipe is a family favorite
Ingredients
For the cinnamon roll dough:
Milk 5/6 cup (200ml)
Sugar 1 tsp.
Yeast 2 full tsp.
4 cups of flour (560g)
2 eggs
Sugar 4 tbsp (80g)
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Room temperature butter 1/3 cup (75g)
For the cinnamon filling:
1/2 cup (100g) sugar
1-2 tablespoon of cinnamon
Soft butter 1/3 cup (75g)
For the cream cheese glaze:
Cream cheese 3 ounces (85 g) room temperature
Soft butter 1/4 cup ( 55 g)
3/4 cup powdered sugar ( 150 g)
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
