Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
For Marinade
Buttermilk
Chicken thighs/wings
Garlic powder
Onion powder
MSG
Celery powder
Mustard powder
Oregano powder
Smoked paprika
Salt
White pepper
For Dry Dredge ( make sure to season )
All-purpose flour
Potato starch
Garlic powder
Onion powder

Instructions
1. Marinate the Chicken:
* Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
* Add chicken, cover, and refrigerate overnight or at least an hour.
2. Prepare the Dry Dredge:
* Combine all dry dredge ingredients in a separate bowl.
3. Coat the Chicken:
* Remove chicken from marinade.
* Thoroughly coat each piece in the dry dredge, squeezing to create crevices.
4. Deep Fry:
* Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
* Fry chicken for 5-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
Coleslaw Recipe
If you prefer a thicker consistency, use crème fraîche and mayo, seasoned with salt and pepper. If crème fraîche is hard to find, you can make it at home or substitute with sour cream. I like my coleslaw just like the one from Popeyes, here is something similar
Ingredients
Cabbage, julienned and cut into small bits
Carrot, grated
Buttermilk and milk (half and half ratio)
Mayo
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Onion, grated
Pepper
Mix and refrigerate.
