This video will take out out of the last few miles of New Mexico and end in Winslow, Arizona, where you can stand on a corner.
You'll hit Arizona in Lupton and see the Chief Yellow Horse Trading Post and the largest Tee Pee in the Southwest. This is where the Kirk Douglas movie "Ace in the Hole" was filmed. A few miles down the road from there you'll see a great Navajo Hogan.
You'll get to see the Petrified Forrest and the Painted Dessert.
In Holbrook, you'll meet a real live dinosaur. You'll also see one of the two remaining Wigwam Motels on Route 66. Each room is its own private Tee Pee. The Winner's Circle Bar is a cool biker joint. Romo's, Joe and Aggies and the Butterfield Steak House all are good places to eat.
Down the road a bit you can explore the Two Guns Ruins and vist the Meteor Crater.
Don't miss the Jackrabbit Trading Post.
Be sure to stand on a corner in Winslow, Arizona.
