Ruby has one of my favorite syntax of any programming language. This syntax, coupled with the modern concepts, makes Crystal a really interesting language to play with.

However, I don't believe it's ready for production just yet.

Ultimately, I have high hopes for Crystal and am looking forward to seeing it grow into it's full potential. Until that time, I'm going to be using it as a hobby language, however.
