In this video I'm going to show you why you should put a lemon on your faucet.
Take a look underneath your faucet. Analyze the small holes. Do you see a build up? This build up is called limescale, mineral buildup, calcium buildup or calcification. Whatever you decide to call it, it builds up over time and clogs the small holes making it difficult for the water to flow smoothly and is difficult to clean and remove.
Enter the lemon! Lemon contains citric acid and acids are what is used to clean inorganic soils like limescale. Cut a lemon in half and submerge the end of the faucet down into the lemon. Use a rubber band to hold it in place.
Leave it on the faucet for 30 to 60 minutes. You may even need to leave all night if necessary. During this wait time the citric acid in the lemon will loosen up all the limescale making it super easy to clean and remove!!
