Dr. Mikel Prieto talks in depth about Gene Okun's kidney transplant surgery. Gene Okun had polycystic kidney disease and needed new kidneys. His kidneys could possibly be the largest ever recorded. Okun needed a donor with a healthy kidney, and found one in his best friend. The surgery was an absolute success.
