Travel For Wildlife presents Wildlife Roadtrip, Winter in Yellowstone 2015. Winter may not seem like a great time to visit Yellowstone National Park, but for wildlife watchers it is the best time of year.
Here are just a few of the animals we saw during our one week in the park (January 19-25) including coyotes, red fox, bison, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, bald and golden eagles, and of course, wolves.
We watched three different wolf packs (Lamar Canyon pack, Junction Butte pack, Prospect Peak pack) and even saw the Lamar Canyon pack approach and surround a bison!
