INGREDIENTS
Butter (Room Temp) - 250 grams
Cocoa Powder - 1 tsp
Chocolate chunks - 10 grams/ 1 tbsp
Condensed Milk - 1/3 cup
Icing sugar (optional) - 1 tbsp
Vanilla Extract - 1/4 tsp
1 cup = 250 ml
METHOD
1- Using 250 grams butter at room temperature. I am using a stand mixer here with paddle attachment, However hand mixer can also be used. Paddle attachment incorporate less air to goes well with buttercreams. However, whisk attachment can also be used.
2- Wish it until the butter turns light and fluffy. It may show increase in volume as well.
3- Add in 1/3 cup condensed milk and whisk until properly incorporated.
4- Sift 1 tsp cocoa powder and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract and mix well.
5- Adding in 1 tbsp melted chocolate to enhance the taste
6- You can also sifted icing sugar to adjust the sugar content or if you want it to be a little more stiffer.
7- Mix until everything seems well combined and don't go overboard with whipping as that can end up in curdled buttercream.
8- You can decorate it with chocolate sauce/ chocolate syrup and chocolate chunks as needed.
9- Best buttercream to frost cakes and cupcakes and use in desserts.
