-like; -looking; -looked; tending to~
Often used for negative things
"although the degree or extent is negligible, if feels like 〜"
Expresses a situation or tendency.
疲れ気味= looks / seems tired.
太り気味= looks / seems large.
遅れ気味= tends to be late.
彼は仕事が忙しくて最近少し疲れ気味だそうです。
He seems to be a little tired recently because he is busy with work.
コロナによる外出自粛で太り気味なので、毎朝ジョギングを始めました。
I started jogging every morning since I was a little overweight because of the restriction of going out due to coronavirus.
彼は待ち合わせ時間に遅れ気味なので、もう一度注意しておきます。
He tends to be late for meetings, so I will warn him again in advance
寝不足気味= looks / seems to be sleep deprived.
風邪気味= having a slight cold
彼はちょっと風邪気味のようです。
He seems to have a slight cold.
