On July 29, 1974, ‘Mama Cass’ Elliot died in her sleep in a London apartment at the age of 32. The star was one of the most famous members of the group The Mamas & the Papas. She sadly passed away in the flat she was living with her friend and road manager, George Caldwell, during her stay in England.
