Competitive matchmaking currently has 18 ranks, but can we make it to the top and become a "Death Merchant?" In this series I review my own gameplay as I progress through the ranks and talk about what worked, what didn't work and whilst hopefully improving as we go and giving advise to viewers on the way!

Bear in mind that TF2 competitive matchmaking is still in beta and the actually "matchmaking" does not exist yet i.e. we are getting placed alongside and against people of ALL ranks which often results in extremely unbalanced games. For the purpose of this series I will try and pick fairly evenly matched games where I feel that the winning team won not because they were simply better, but because they played better in that particular game.
