‘If you have a woman in your life that means something to you, her life is at stake. It doesn't matter if she's 12, 9, or 34 … her life is at stake during this election’ — Hadley Duvall during an appearance with Vice President Kamala Harris on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe.’
When she was 12, Duvall was SA’d by her stepfather, became pregnant, and miscarried. Ten years later, Duvall has become a powerful advocate for reproductive freedom and is raising awareness of her story and the stories of countless other women and girls just like her.
Duvall has given her name to a prospective piece of legislation called Hadley’s Law, which seeks to create exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother in Kentucky, one of many red states with a draconian abortion ban.
