In this video we'll have a look on how California used to look. I'm sure that not many of you know that the central farmalands in California were actualy part of a lake called Lake Corcoran that covered the entire central California.
The high temperature and the melting snow made the lake overflow and drawn into the Pacific Ocean and today, only a fraction of the once huge California lake still exists.
But we'll talk more about this in the video, so make sure you don't miss it.

California was very different from how you know it today!
This central fertile land in California was actually a freshwater lake called Lake Corcoran. It flowed into the Pacific Ocean through the Carcana Stream. The source of freshwater was the rainfalls and the melting snow from the mountains to the east.
As the temperatures started to rise, the lake overflowed and created huge canals to the Pacific Ocean draining this way the Lake Corcoran, leaving behind only this body of water called Tulare Lake.
The farmers in the region started to build canals out of the Tulare Lake into the California central farmlands.
By 1935, almost the entire lake was drained, as multiple dry periods affected California and more water was drawn from the canal. Today, this is what remained from the lake that once covered all the center of California.
