In "Avatar: The Way of Water," the RDA doesn't bomb the Tree of Souls, despite their desire to do so, because of the "immune response" that Eywa sends out to attack any human vehicles that are not directly aligned with the Na'vi and spend too much time near the Hallelujah Mountains. However, one might wonder why the RDA doesn't use the ISV's exhaust plumes to burn the tree instead. The reason is that the Hallelujah Mountains are composed of massive chunks of superconductive Unobtanium ore held up by incredibly powerful and unpredictable magnetic fields. These same magnetic fields are used to direct the plasma streams in an ISV's drive, and if there were even a slight chance that the mountains' magnetism could redirect the plumes and unbalance the ship, it's likely that the RDA's spacefaring department would not risk attempting to burn the tree. This makes sense given the potential disastrous consequences of such an attempt.
