Bibhutibhushan Wildlife Sanctuary/Parmadan Forest:-
বিভূতিভূষণ বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য (পূর্বে পারমাদান বন) হল ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের উত্তর 24 পরগণা জেলার একটি প্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য। বনটি কলকাতা থেকে প্রায় 100 কিলোমিটার এবং বনগাঁ থেকে 25 কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত। ইছামতি নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত 0.68 কিমি 2 এলাকা জুড়ে এটি 200 টিরও বেশি হরিণ, পাখি, খরগোশ এবং অনেক ল্যাঙ্গুর রয়েছে। এখানে একটি শিশু পার্ক, একটি ছোট চিড়িয়াখানা এবং বন বিভাগের একটি ট্যুরিস্ট লজ রয়েছে। অভয়ারণ্যটি 1964 সালে শুরু হয়েছিল যখন 14টি চিতল বনে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। 1980 সালে, এটিকে বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য ঘোষণা করা হলে এর নামকরণ করা হয় "পরমাদান"। 1995 সালে বিখ্যাত বাঙালি লেখক বিভূতিভূষণ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় যিনি একজন মহান প্রকৃতি প্রেমী ছিলেন তার নামানুসারে এটি বর্তমান নামটি অর্জন করে।
