Deputies are investigating a homicide after an Oakdale man was found dead in a car, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department said Monday. David Brichetto, 64, was found around 11 a.m. Sunday inside of a white four-door sedan parked next to a Modesto canal on Geer Road, south of Yosemite Boulevard, the sheriff’s department said.
