FOCUS ON THE LORD’S POWER TO RESTORE, 1
2 Kings 5:1 (NKJV) 5 - Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper.
Naaman was the commander of the army of the king of Syria. As a commander he was a man of authority and the overseer of the Syrian army. Nevertheless, he had a problem that he could not solve, despite the authority he had. He was a leper and his authority in the Syrian army could not lead to his restoration. Likewise, we may be people of great authority in the secular world, but that authority may not be the key to our restoration. Let us learn to focus on the Lord’s power to restore and not on our earthly authority. Shalom!
