I strongly recommend the Shield Pro over the Shield Tube but if the budget does not allow the Shield Tube is a decent device as well. It just has less RAM and less storage plus the only way to expand storage is with a micro sd card.
The Shield remote is listed for people that have 2017 or 2015 Nvidia Shields. I strongly recommend upgrading to this new remote as it is tons better than the remote that came with older Shields. If you are buying a new Shield today then the remote linked already comes in the box so no need to purchase one separately.
