“An Evening with Al Young,” was a celebration of the acclaimed poet, writer, educator, and California Poet Laureate emeritus Al Young. Recorded on December 27, 2018, this all-star Poem Jam featured: Jack Foley, Tennessee Reed, Ishmael Reed, Avotcja, former San Francisco Poet Laureate Jack Hirschman, former San Francisco Poet Laureate devorah major, current San Francisco Poet Laureate Kim Shuck, current California Poet Laureate Dana Gioia, and Michael Young.
