The World Bank will again review Uganda’s checklist on compliance with benchmarks that prompted the cut back on further disbursement of financial support. Last month, the bank cited poor utilization of nearly $1.8 Billion dollars (6 Trillion shillings) loaned out to gov’t, as well as social protection challenges on some of the road projects in Uganda. Now, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija, says that a meeting with the World Bank Group at State House later today; will review the pending areas out of the 32 items of a check list raised by the multi lateral lender while shutting down its lending in November.
