Shallots - 1 cup
Tamarind - 1 gooseberry size
Jaggery - 1 small piece
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspoon
Salt - to taste
Water - as required
Coconut oil/ Clarified butter - 3 tbspoon
Roasted coconut - 1 cup
Mustard - 1/2 tspoon
Red chilly - 1
Curry leaves - 4
To roast and grind
Gingelly oil / coconut oil - 1 tspoon
Channa dal - 2 tspoon
Coriander seeds - 2 tspoon
Red chilly 5
Fenugreek seeds - 4
Curry leaves - 4
Asafoetida - 1 small piece or 1 pinch
