We want to thank you all for helping us hit 50,000 subscribers, and as grateful as we are with this milestone, we know there's still a long way to go. However in the meantime, to thank you all for your support over the last few years, including during our two-year hiatus, we've decided to make a little video. As we're sure most of you are aware, war films seem to be our niche, a genre that our subscribers have a reciprocal passion for, and so we've taken a little trip into the past and picked out our favourite war film of every year from 1921 through to 2021. Here's hoping you can discover some new films along the way that might just make your watchlist.

NOTE: Whilst we're aware that movies like 'Dances with Wolves' and 'Gladiator' (amongst others) aren't technically classified as "war films" in the traditional sense, as they both contain infamous sequences that focus on warfare (such as the Battle of St. David's Field and Battle of Vindobona), we've included them based on these well-executed scenes.
