Hundreds of Indian recent grads have protested against a new Canadian government policy that could result in their deportation. More than 70,000 international students' futures are unknown as a result of the recently announced changes to immigration policy. Indian students, in particular, have long-held dreams of relocating to North America in order to start better lives there. For over three months, Indian students have been demonstrating against the abrupt policy shift by setting up camp in front of the legislative assembly in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. Protests along similar lines were observed in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario.
