I've driven on average a return trip a month on the Great Eastern Highway for past 8 years. I have done return trips 5 out of 6 weekends before. Only in the recent years I've turn my UHF radio to channel 40 and only in the past few weeks I have the courage to call the HVs up. I have thanked the truckies for letting me know it's save to overtake on the radio but never called them up first. It has taken a lot of learning from listening to other drivers calling each other up, making my own fair share of mistakes and now it's just easy. I'm a shy person so it has taken me awhile to call up.
