Hi potates ❤️ It's been a minute, I've missed you guise. With everything going on, I agree that there are far more important things than “productivity.” Over the years, I feel that this specific term has gotten a bad rap with the glorification of hustle culture and people putting in insane hours to achieve whatever it is that they want it to achieve. That said, I do believe there's a difference between mindfully putting in the hours to work towards a specific vision that you’ve set and created for yourself vs mindlessly and blindly working for the sake of working.
While researching for this video I came across this quote that beautifully summarized my thoughts: “Most people are living at such a furious pace that they rarely stop to ask themselves what they stand for and who they want to be. I hope we can all work smarter not harder *so that* we can carve out time for what is truly essential. Time spent cherishing ourselves. Time spent with people who matter most to us. Time spent meditating on life, our existence, the meaning of our existence. Time spent unplugged, somewhere, anywhere so long as we’re fully present. There are many, many things we often overlook due to the busyness of life, and I hope we can all spend more time on what is essential, and less on what is not. 🌿💚✨ Sending my love always~
