It is highly advisable, if you struggle with a besetting sin, that you get a good pastoral counseling, instead of searching answers online that, though helpful at times, are in nature generic, broadly applicable, and if given by a careful person intentionally indirect so as to not give a false assurance or misleading answer.
But a simple question you can start with is - am I loving the righteousness I once hated, am I hating the sin I once loved?
