The drama is based on a book by Stephen King. It takes place in a small town called Chester's Mill that's suddenly cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious, invisible dome. This leaves the people in the town struggling to survive as they face limited resources and rising tensions. there are some pretty wild plot twists, like trying to figure out why the dome appeared in the first place and dealing with some seriously dangerous folks in the town.
