UNFPA’s Regional Prepositioning Initiative has been a game-changer in supporting humanitarian preparedness across the Asia-Pacific region.


More than 140,000 beneficiaries, affected by 54 emergencies in 15 countries have received over $1.6 million dollars worth of life-saving sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence supplies.


The Regional Prepositioning Initiative prepositions supplies and builds capacity so that the health and protection needs of women, girls and marginalised groups are met during emergencies.
