Simple Homemade Beef Stew
3 lbs Beef Stew Meat or Beef Roast
32 oz. Beef Broth plus extra to thicken gravy
2 Celery Stalk Chopped
1 Cup Baby Carrots
8 small Red Potatoes
1 Medium Onion Chopped
1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder
2 Teaspoons of Seasoned Salt
1/2 Tablespoon Black Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Beef Bouillon Powder
1 Teaspoon of Thyme
1 Teaspoon of Rosemary
2 Bay leaves
1 Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
1/2 Cup Tomato Sauce or 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
4 Tablespoons of Oil for skillet
To thicken gravy:
2 Tablespoons flour
3 Tablespoons of Beef Broth
Tip:
Taste your beef stew before adding flour mixture. Add more Beef Bouillon Powder ( if salt is needed) Its more flavorful than plain salt.
Cook for 3 1/2 hours on high
Cook for 8 hours on low
