Yamaha 9.9 HP Outboard Motor 4 Stroke - First Run. This was the first start up of my new Yamaha 9.9 HP 4 stroke outboard motor. I'll look forward to testing this motor out on a number of different boats over the summer.

Run in period:
1st Hour: In water, in gear, varying speeds up to half throttle.
2nd Hour: In water, in gear, varying speeds avoiding full throttle.
Next 8 Hours: In water, in gear, any speed but using full throttle for no more than 5 minutes at a time.
After 10 Hours: Operate Normally.
